The Hobson rental hall has a maximum capacity of 120 people standing and 90 people seated.
The Victoria rental hall has a maximum capacity of 100 people standing and 80 people seated. -

Yes, we welcome long-term rental contracts! Rental rate will depend on various factors including use, duration of contract, and days and times required. Further reduced rates for non-profit groups and events. Please contact the office to discuss further.

No. FGCC facilities are not licensed for food preparation. Only foods ready to serve can be provided at any event. No dish washing is allowed.

The Hobson site is fully air conditioned, but the Victoria site is not. Multiple fans are available at both sites.

Decorating of the leased portion of the facility is allowed. Please ask the facility attendant on duty for our tape that will not mark walls or peel paint. All decorations, adhesives, string, etc. must be removed by the end of your rental time. Standard plastic or paper table cloths will usually fit tables at both sites.

You are responsible for basic clean up after your event. Remove everything you brought, clean up tables, counter tops and chairs. Return stacked chairs to their place. Remove tape and/or decorating materials from walls. Deposit all garbage and recycling into the appropriate bins.

The date and time that is stated on your contract to rent the leased portion of the facility must include setup and clean up time. Evening and weekend staff are scheduled according to rental times and may not be onsite prior.

FGCC will rent out its facilities for events serving or selling alcohol at the discretion of the Board of Directors and in keeping with FGCC's policy with regards to alcohol. Any events serving alcohol will require the appropriate permit.

Yes! We do offer event set up for an additional fee. You will be required to submit a diagram of how you would like the space set up no less than 48 hours prior to your event.
FGCC staff will set up tables and chairs, decorating remains the responsibility of the renter.

Yes, we can accommodate groups of varying sizes for meetings at both sites.

Both sites have no-fee parking lots and free street parking in close proximity. The Victoria site parking lot has 12 stalls, and the Hobson site parking lot has approximately 94 stalls available.
Please note that parking is not reserved or guaranteed.

Once you have contacted the FGCC office, we will work with you to confirm the booking date and times and make arrangements for contract signing and payment. A reservation deposit is required with all bookings. Once the reservation deposit is received, your booking is placed in the calendar and a Facility Use Agreement (FUA) is sent to you for review. Once the FUA is confirmed, you must sign and return the agreement and arrange for payment of the remaining balance. Full payment of any remaining balance must be received on the day of your event when you arrive for your booking.

Cancellation of a confirmed booking received less than 14 days, but more than 24 hours prior to your rental will result in a refund of the rental fee and half the reservation deposit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to no refunds.
